Short Distance Brake Repair Questions

Where do you change brakes?

Our business model allows us to change brakes in a variety of locations, including but not limited to: your home, place of employment, parking garages, parking lots, apartment complexes and even on side streets, if need be. For safety reasons, we cannot perform brake repairs on high traffic streets, highways or freeways.

How do you know what parts to order?

When calling for a quote, we will ask for your vehicle information, licence plate number and/or VIN number. This information allows us to select the specific brakes and rotors needed for your particular make and model.

What methods of payment do you accept?

We are able to accept cash, checks and credit cards. All payment is required upon the completion of service.

Midwest winters are harsh, do you service year-round?

Yes, we are well prepared for all seasons—we have rain gear, heating elements and proper gear to ensure not only is your car taken care of, but that your Technician is comfortable to perform top service.

What is the average time for the job to be complete?

The average repair job will take between one to two hours depending on if one or both axles are serviced.

Are you insured?

Yes, we are fully insured to perform our services on third party properties.

What types of parts do you use?

We use premium rotors complimented with premium ceramic brake pads.

What makes and models do you service?

We are skilled and trained to service all makes and models, from more involved imports all the way through the most modest domestics.

Do you turn rotors?

We do not turn rotors as it’s better for the overall braking performance of the vehicle because of the life expectancy of brake pads. This also is more cost effective for you in the long term.

Are you certified?

Yes, we are ASE certified.

Where do you service?

We currently service the North Suburbs of Chicago.  However, we often go outside the boundary map!
